Endotine
Endotine is a patented system for anchoring soft tissue during aesthetic surgery, using small resorbable tines to reduce the tissue strain associated with sutures. This unique system allows surgeons to re-adjust tissue fixation and location during surgery, resulting in optimal aesthetic outcomes. Endotine® implants provide reliable fixation throughout the post-operative healing period, and eventually resorb as biological fixation takes over. Endotine® is used in a variety of facial procedures, including brow lifts, midface lifts, face lifts and neck lifts.
EnduraGen
ENDURAGen™ Collagen Implants are specifically indicated for soft tissue reinforcement, augmentation, and repair in plastic and reconstructive surgery of the head and face.
The ENDURAGen Biomaterial is a sterile, off-white, moist, tough but flexible flat sheet of cross-linked porcine dermal collagen with its constituent elastin fibers. The flexible material readily conforms to anatomical shapes and has been used in more than 60,000 implantations. ENDURAGen Implants provide surgeons with the flexibility to meet their patients individual requirements.
This patented collagen matrix has a structural architecture similar to human tissue, which offers a natural scaffold for fibroblast infiltration and vascularization. The enzymatic digestion and cross-linking manufacturing process makes ENDURAGen Implants resistant to breakdown and absorption, thus allowing the surgeon to effect a durable repair or reconstruction for soft tissue contouring and/or reinforcement procedures. ENDURAGen Implants are supplied STERILE in double-wrapped, heat sealed packets. Requires no hydration prior to use.
Alloderm
Since 1994, LifeCell has been a pioneer in the science of regenerative medicine. Our flagship product, AlloDerm® Regenerative Tissue Matrix, has been used successfully in more than one million grafts and implants to date. AlloDerm® Tissue Matrix and our next generation soft-tissue repair product, Strattice™ Reconstructive Tissue Matrix, are being used by an increasing number of surgeons for a range of surgical applications including hernia repair, breast reconstruction postmastectomy, breast plastic surgery (breast augmentation revisions) and other reconstructive applications.
LifeCell™ Tissue Matrix products are manufactured with proprietary processes that remove cells which can lead to tissue rejection and graft failure. Laboratory studies show that they support tissue regeneration by promoting rapid revascularization, white cell migration and cell repopulation - ultimately transforming into host tissue for a strong, natural repair.
Synthes Maxillofacial Implants
Autologous bone is the method of choice in reconstructing bone in the CMF area. It provides perfect biocompatibility along with the bodys own growth factors and structural proteins. Despite these advantages, it is not always possible to use autologous bone. The availability is limited and the mechanical characteristics are not always optimal. This is why bone substitutes are required for certain indications and situations.
Requirements of a bone substitute unlimited availability rapid conversion to bone precise shaping to complex defects immediate compression stability reproducible biological and mechanical characteristics
