The Laser is applied to cleansed, shaven skin. A cooling agent is used during treatment to prevent any discomfort. It is very important that you remain out of the sun during your treatments as the laser is attracted to pigment, so tanned skin may cause a burn.
Hair growth takes place in cycles and resting phases. It is only during growth phases that the light pulses of the laser can affect the root of the hair. Therefore, several sessions are necessary to reach all hair roots effectively. It is pertinent to continue your laser treatments in 4-6 week intervals. Taking longer “breaks” between appointments will not provide the results you are looking for.
It has been clinically proven that after laser treatment hairs do not regrow at all or become thinner and less dense. There is no guarantee that all hairs will be removed permanently, as this can be altered with age, hormones, etc.
